He was predeceased by : his wife Norma Roach Mullinax; his parents, Thomas Lee Arlin "Jack" and Eva Sue Owensby Mullinax; his son Scott Mullinax; and his siblings, Richard Mullinax, Margaret Stoddard and Louise Lawter.

He is survived by : his daughter Leann Mullinax of Lyman; his brother Joe A. Mullinax of Lyman; his sister-in-law Judy Conn of Apollo Beach, Florida; his granddaughter Ashley; his great grandchild Noah; and his nieces, Phyllis Cothran and Gail Windell. He is also survived by seven nieces and five nephews.
