With sadness, we share the passing of Helen G. Story of Greer, South Carolina. Helen, born on February 11, 1932, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Moore Story of Greer; her parents, James McKinley Gregory and Mary Melinda Anderson Gregory; her children, Linda A. Hice, Dwight Anderson, Archie Anderson and John Story; her sister Mary Mable Gregory Guffey; and her grandchildren, Theron Earl Hice and Whitney Hice.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Dustin B. Hice (Tammy) of Greer, Eric Anderson of Greenville and Mike Anderson of Knoxville, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren, Tanner Hice and Wiley Beth Hice.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memory Gardens (14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651).
