He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Williams and Gladys Stevens Williams; his wife Dorothy Williams; his daughter Karen Howell; his granddaughter Amanda Howell; and his son Herbert Junior.
He is survived by: his sons, John Williams (Priscilla) and Tom Williams (Sandra); and his son-in-law Paul Howell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651).
