He was predeceased by: his parents, James Angus and Helen Bishop Burrell. He is survived by: his wife Rita Moon McManus of Greenville; his children, Keely Remedios (Richard) of Plymouth, Minnesota and Derren Burrell (Gloria) of Fairfax Station, Virginia; his sister Beth Burrell (Heath) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Lydia Gayle, Luke Arnold, David Vernon, Rebekah Ellen and Nathanael James Burrell.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (847 Cleveland St, Greenville, SC 29601).
