He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold David Custer and Adell Custer Moore; his sister Linda Masker; and his brother-in-law George Richard Richardson. He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Richardson Custer; his children, Angie Lewis (Hobart) and Tim Custer (Julie); his grandchildren, John Lewis (Micah), Maddie Lewis, Bryson Custer and Caleb Custer; his great grandchild Charleigh Rae Lewis; his brothers, Gene and Rudy Custer; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Wilson, Doug Wilson and Orrin Richardson.
