We announce the death of Jimmy Farotto (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 70. Jimmy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Farotto and Virginia Ward Farotto. He is survived by: his wife Carter Ridenhour Farotto; his children, Mike Farotto (Kelly) of Boiling Springs, Alex Farotto (Cara) of Greenville, Zach Farotto (Shan) of Charlotte and Jenna F. Teague (Josh) of Taylors; his brother Richard "Dick" Farotto (Sunny) of Melbourne, Florida; and his grandchildren, Corinne, Cooper, Cameron, Grayson, Collin and Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
