He was predeceased by: his parents, George Max and Mildred Duncan Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Quinn Vaughn; his sons, James Vaughn (Sherri) of Greer and Scott Vaughn (Amy) of Simpsonville; his sister Gayle Vaughn of Greer; his grandchildren, R. J. Vaughn (Lauren) of Roebuck, Brandi Chapman (Alex) of Lyman and Zack Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Lila Chapman.
