He was predeceased by: his parents, Tolbert Edward Waddell, Sr. and Sarah Aycock Waddell; and his brother Louie "Lou" Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Waddell; his daughters, Melissa Adams (Glenn) and Emily Brown (Phil); his grandchildren, Trey Adams, Lillian Sharp (Spencer), Joel Adams and Henry Brown; and his siblings, Toby Waddell, Frank Waddell, Joye Leopard and Jill Jacobs.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Washington Baptist Church (3500 SC-14, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Baptist Church, Hammer and Nails, 3500 N. Highway 14, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
