She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Albert and Osie Mae Patterson Russell; her husband Charlie Culbreth; her son Johnny Buchanan; her stepdaughter Donna Culbreth; her sister Carolyn Dorris; and her grandson John Eric Buchanan.
She is survived by: her son Richard L. Buchanan of Greer; her stepson Scott Culbreth of Alabama; her brother Harold Russell of Landrum; her grandchildren, Eric Buchanan (Lindsey), Hilary Buchanan (Chang), Brent Buchanan (Heather), Ashley Cotton (Amelia) and Josh Buchanan (Ashlei); and her great grandchildren, Mary Claire, Beatrice, Wrenly, Adryana, Alec and Avery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Victor Baptist Church (121 New Woodruff Rd, Greer, SC 29651). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
