She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Amador; her parents, James William "Bill" and Lula Elizabeth "Libby" Champion Reese; and her sister Sandra Kay Reese Papakostas. She is survived by: her son Federico Amador (Michelle) of Simpsonville; her brother-in-law Kostas Papakostas of Simpsonville; her nieces, Katherine Papakostas of Simpsonville and Konstance De Oliveira (Werik) of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Steve Amador (Sacha), Isabella and Gabriel; her great grandchildren, Sienna and Sebastian; her great-nephew Luka; her great-niece Zoe; and her cousin Nina Elizabeth Godfrey.
