He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Jo Ward Karkosky; his parents, Lewis Karkosky and Mary Sushereba Karkosky; his daughter Debbie Karkosky; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Karkosky, Edward Karkosky, Don Karkosky, Mary Tabor, Shirley Geiger and Violet Baab; and his great grandchildren, Konnley Laine Hargrove and Brooklyn Leigh Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Karkosky, Jr. (Kelly) and Lorraine Covington; his stepdaughters, Barbara Galvao, Donna Honeycutt and Sherry Hargrove Karkosky; and his siblings, Lewis Karkosky (Gail), William "Bill" Karkosky, David Karkosky (Jill), Daisy Conrad and Eleanor Muise (Russel). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
