She was predeceased by : her parents, W. E. Cudd and Virgie Evelyn Smith Cudd; her former life partner Frank Jones; her sons, Randy Frank Jones and Roger Scott Jones; and her siblings, Bennett Cudd, Billy Cudd, Gaynell Miller, Aileen McClimon and Joan Carol Cudd.

She is survived by : her husband Belvin Hughes; her daughter Renee Bridwell of Lyman; and her siblings, Jennings Cudd of Woodruff, Ruthel Godfrey of Greer and Betty Kelley of Greenville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
