It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marsha Mabel Pendergrass (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Marsha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marsha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marsha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Ray Pendergrass; and her parents, Delvin Pharis Kennedy and Edith Few Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Luther Ray Pendergrass, Jr. (Kim) and Elizabeth Davis (Chris); and her grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah Pendergrass and Samantha Dodson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wood Mortuary (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
