She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Gregg Gowan; her parents, Jesse Snow and Nell Wood Snow; and her sisters, Jean Satterfield and Mavoline Duncan.

She is survived by: her sons, David Gowan (Michelle) of Bonaire and John Gowan (Michelle) of Macon, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Charles Gregg Gowan II, Lauren Gowan, Caroline Silva (Chandler) and Lindsey Gowan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Sharon Methodist Church (1421 Reidville Sharon Rd, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Sharon Methodist Church, 1421 Reidville Sharon Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
