She was predeceased by: her husband Boyce Verner King; her parents, Zeb Norman and Ruth Adlina Edge Cox; her brothers, Donald Cox and Jimmy Cox; her former husband Thomas Earl Lafoy; and her sister Madline Hendrick.
She is survived by: her children, David King (Kim) of Seattle, Richard King of Oviedo and Carol King Brown (Eddie) of Greer; her siblings, Arthur Cox of Whispering Pines, Joyce Dennen of Greer and LaLa Caddell of Whispering Pines; her niece Judy Myers Byrum (George) of Winston Salem; her nephew Eddie Myers (Donna) of Augusta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Taylor Webster (J. J.), Nicholas King (Jamie), Ashley King (Mike), Brooklyn King and Brandon King; and her great grandchildren, Leila King, Alana King and Colby King.
