She was predeceased by: her husband James Preston Edwards; her parents, Robert Clint and Mittie Jackson Archer; her daughters, Sheila Joyce Edwards and Mary Denice Edwards; her brother Robert Archer, Jr.; and her pet Willow.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Edwards (Lena) and Mittie Taylor (Bert); her sister Peggy Robeson of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Christopher Taylor (Cathleen), Allison Duffie (Aaron), Grace Edwards and Preston Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Taylor, Mary Taylor, Thomas Taylor and Connor Duffie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
