He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Yonkin and Ila Littlefield Yonkin. He is survived by: his children, Amy Caudill of Michigan, Jason Yonkin of Michigan, Danielle Chaparro-Yonkin of Canada and Taryn Richardson of Michigan; and his brothers, David Yonkin (Susie) of Greer and James Yonkin (Brenda) of Arizona. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
