It is with sadness that the passing of Raymond E. Briggs Jr. (Greer, South Carolina) is shared. Raymond, born on August 16, 1940 in Batavia, New York, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Edward Briggs, Sr. and Irene Aramino Briggs; and his brother Robert Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Young Briggs; his children, Janice Gray (Gary) of Cleveland and John Briggs (Kim) of Inman; his grandchildren, Rebecca Gray, Nathan Gray (Hope) and Jordan Briggs; and his great grandchildren, Alex Gray, Daniel Gray, Cole Urban, Mason Urban, Charlotte Gray, Owen Gray and Raimy Gray.
A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Rafka Maronite Catholic Church (1215 SC-14, Greer, SC 29650).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Rafka Maronite Catholic Church Building Fund, 1215 Highway 14, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
