It is with sadness that the passing of Raymond Smith of Greer, South Carolina is shared. Raymond, born on October 2, 1956, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Raymond will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Martin and Waymon Smith; and his siblings, Rev. Calvin Smith, Reece Smith and Dorothy Pearson.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Dorin Ballenger of Spartanburg, SC; and his brothers, Michael Smith of Piedmont, SC and Odell Smith. He is also survived by granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel (214 Memorial Dr, Greer, SC 29650).
