He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Cornelia Hawkins; his parents, Arthur W. Hawkins and Martha Mae Turner Hawkins; and his siblings, Arthur Hawkins, Jr., Lawrence Hawkins, Shirley Hawkins, Kathleen Johnson, Sarah Snow, Gail Clippard, Margaret McGowan and Mildred London.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Hawkins (Lisa) of Greer and Wanda Bell (Mark) of Laurens; his brother Tommy Hawkins (Jane) of Fort Mill; his grandchildren, Faith Ebert (JD), Rebekah Bell and Linsey Bell; his great grandchildren, Ansley Ebert and Juni Ebert; and his close friend Judy Gaston.
