It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wall Jr. (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn Stiller Wall; his parents, Richard Pate Wall, Sr. and Mamie Hawkins Wall; and his siblings, Alvin D. Wall, Lillian W. Rector and Helen W. Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. Richard P. "Rick" Wall III (Pat) of Greer and Victoria W. Wilson (Reggie) of Greer; and his grandchildren, Leanne Crawford, Richard P. "Eric" Wall IV and Rebecca Barbare (Blake). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
