He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Persson Sr. and Ada Oliver Persson; his daughter Sharon Elaine Persson; and his sister Cindy Persson Metrakoudes. He is survived by: his children, Robert Edward Persson III, Amber Persson Williams (Brian) and Christina Persson Hensley (Sean); his brother Stephen Persson; his grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Gilstrap, Caleb Allen Williams, Abigail Rose Persson, Makayla Avery Williams and Mackenzie Grace Persson; and his great grandchildren, Daisy Elaine Gilstrap and Axhl Lee Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
