He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stewart B. Simms and Mary Ann Canaday Simms. He is survived by: his wife DeAnne Dobson (Dee); his sons, Peter (Michelle) and Patrick (Lauren); and his granddaughters, Catherine, Anna Claire, Natalie and Rachel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
