With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronnie Hughes (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 79. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronnie leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Dee and Eloise Bridwell Hughes; and his siblings, Donald Henry Hughes, Dorothy Mae Weathers and Joyce Carolyn Belcher.
He is survived by: his sister Doris Ann Hughes of Greer.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ebenezer Umc Cemetery (174 Ebenezer Rd, Greer, SC 29651).
