He was predeceased by : his brother Autry Lee Turner. He is survived by : his wife Wanda Crawford Turner; his children, Brandy Kneisley (Jeff) of Inman and Travis Scott Turner of Landrum; and his granddaughter Mackenzie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (499 Hwy 912, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
