She was predeceased by : her son Johnny Massengale, Jr.; and her siblings, Roy Neely, Leona Sanders, Dot Pomeroy, Estelle Smith and Peggy Neely.

She is survived by : her husband Jerry Lee Trotter; her daughters, Donna Hughes (Mark) of Lyman and Ann Ragsdale (David) of Pelzer; her siblings, Richard Neely of Citrus Heights, California and Juanita Redden of Lyman; her grandchildren, Ashley, Melissa, Makayla and Whitney; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Miles, Brynlee and Hayden.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
