She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Stephen Wheeler I; her parents, Willard Hiram and Julie Mae Franks Rice of Sheriff's Office; and her siblings, J. D. Rice, Paul Rice, Guy Rice Perry, Bonnie Dyer and Willie Jean Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Christina "Christy" Wheeler of Taylors and Maurice Stephen Wheeler II (Erica) of Inman; her brothers, David Rice (Robin) of Barnardsville and Gary Rice of Barnardsville; her grandchild Jonnah Murphy; her nephew Timothy Allen Grant (Andie); and her great-niece Olivia of Landrum.
