With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Glover (Greer, South Carolina), born in Northbridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 106. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sophie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sophie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Burton Glover; her parents, Peter Lubas and Caroline Klocek Lubas; her son Robert Henry Glover; and her siblings, Walter Lubas, Frank Lubas, Henry Lubas, Leo Lubas and Stacia Baxendale.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Burton Glover of Salem and Richard Walter Glover (Janis) of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
