It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve C. Wood of Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Steve shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Steve farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Myra Knox Wood; his parents, Carlisle Wood and Marie Dill Wood; and his brother Brooks Wood. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Wood (Lisa) of Reidville and Todd Wood (J. C.) of Key West, Florida; his grandchildren, Tucker Wood (Shelby) and Dillon Wood (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Porter Wood and Tesa Wood.
