It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Green (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar "Clark" Green and Eunice Glenn Green; and his brother Daniel Phillip Green. He is survived by: his wife Jane Peebles Green; his children, Robin Green Smith of Greer, Dale Clark Green (Connie) of Greer and David Scott Green (Robert) of Lyman; his stepsons, Marvin Jeffrey Peebles of Milton and Joey Peebles of Greenville; his aunt Veleda Green Hemphill of Greer; his grandchildren, Jonathan David Smith (Sarah) of Sumter, Benjamin Paul Smith (Melissa) of Greer, Patsy Green Owens of Greer, William Clark Smith (Katie) of Greer, Joshua Dale Green (Jessika) of Greer and Jessica Smith Almond (Josh) of Lyman; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Peebles (Toni) and Shelby James Peebles (Cydney) of Alabama. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.
