Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Troy leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Lanham and Esther Rhodes Whitmore. He is survived by: his wife Adele Sloan Whitmore; his daughters, Tana Chassereau (Dale) of Greer and Dorathea Shirley (Jeff) of Greer; and his sister Barbara W. Howard (Ken). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memory Gardens (14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651).
