He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Armstrong; his wife Ann Boatwright Armstrong; and his father-in-law Dwight Boatwright. He is survived by: his mother Lonnie Armstrong; his daughters, Katherine Armstrong and Abigail Motsinger (Clayton Motsinger); his siblings, Russell Armstrong (Michelle Armstrong), Amanda Schramka (Peter Schramka) and Melinda Armstrong; his mother-in-law Carole Huffman; and his brother-in-law Jim Boatwright (Nichole Boatwright).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dementia Society of America, Alzheimer's Association, or your charity of choice.
