She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Leon Simpson; and her parents, Vernon Lee and Aldean Stokes Cantrell. She is survived by: her son Mark Simpson (Irina) of Greer; her brothers, Michael Lee Cantrell (Maudene) of Greer and Edwin Cantrell (Denise) of Landrum; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Simpson and Alexandra Simpson.
