We announce the death of Lois Burgener Bowers (Hampton, South Carolina), who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Lois will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lois’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Louis Burgener and Eltis Irene Cope Burgener; and her husband Willie McGee Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Louis Bowers of Hampton, Kevin Bowers (Cindy) of Hampton and Amy Ginn (Steve) of Nixville. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
