Smith of Hanahan, South Carolina, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Carl Huskisson and Nellie Irene Stiling Huskisson; her children, Robin Smith Hussey, L. Earl Smith III (Kimberly), Nell Smith Piedmont (Paul), Carol Bowers (Bill) and Terry Zane (Tom); and her grandchildren, Dr. Charlotte M. Taylor (Frank), Amanda Miguel (Iber), Sarah Smith, Stuart Smith, Greg Piedmont (Kristen), Chris Piedmont, Abby Piedmont and Jennifer Mullinax (Gabe).

In lieu of flowers (which would have caused her instant allergies) memorials may be made to Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church, Jane's church home for over 50 years, or Heifer International.
