We are sad to announce that, on November 8, 2023, at the age of 87, Gertrude Ann Simonds of Hanahan, South Carolina, born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jackson Gilder, Jr. and Willamina Mae Schatt Gilder; her husband Richard Eldredge Simonds; and her children, Linda May Simonds and Richard E. Simonds, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Simonds Fowler (Jerry) of Hanahan, SC; her grandchildren, Zoe Grace Fowler and Angel; her great grandchild Raylynn Fowler; and her siblings, Annis Hull (Sonny) of North Charleston, SC, Edward Gilder of North Charleston, SC and Laure Dwyer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
