He is survived by: his wife Linda Sineri Sturgis; his stepchildren, Glen Patrick Gossett and Nicole Gossett Nettles (Chad Nettles); his brother David Sturgis, Sr. (Debra Sturgis); his nephew David Sturgis, Jr.; and his granddaughters, Madelyn Nettles and Olivia Nettles.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
