He is survived by: his children, Wendell I. McCoy (Debbie), Angela McCoy Orr (Henry), Ursula T. Abercrombie, Timothy D. McCoy and Shauntea Tucker; his grandchildren, DeAngelo G. McCoy, Amber S. McCoy, Wendrah M. McCoy, Majes O. McCoy, Tristian McCoy and Azrielle McCoy; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh S. McCoy and Noah O. McCoy; his siblings, William'June'McCoy (Bernice) and Annette M. Booker (Kenneth); his uncles, Lorenzo Fleming and Wilbur Fleming; and his aunt Verna Lee Jamison.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murray's Mortuary North Charleston Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Morris Street Baptist Church (25 Morris St, Charleston, SC 29403). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Riverview Memorial Park (3715 Azalea Dr, North Charleston, SC 29405).
