He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sturdivant and Edna Sturdivant (Ealy); and his son-in-law Larry Wyatt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sims Sturdivant; his children, Larry Sturdivant (Lind) and Jennifer Wyatt; his sister Opal Elaine Lovette; his grandchildren, Tiffany Ambrose (J. R.), Leslie Brown (Timothy), Jacob Sturdivant, Justin Wyatt, Hannah Davis (Mitchell) and Rachel Wyatt; and his great grandchildren, Landon Brown, Lylah Brown, A. J. Ambrose and Lola Brown.
