We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2022, at the age of 95, Helen Mann Porter Register of Hardeeville, South Carolina, born in Mulberry, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Reverend Dewey Mann and Lucille Mann; her former life partner Samuel Register; her sister Virginia Mann Reddick; and her children, Sue Porter Fleming and Brad Porter.
She is survived by : her sister Betty Mann Hughes (Colorado); her daughters, Robin Porter Vinson (Danny) of Indiana, Julie Porter Swanda (Tony) of Texas and Cindy Porter Brown (Dale) of South Carolina; and her stepsons, Samuel Register, Jr. (Sandy) of Florida and Thomas Register of Florida. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Helen's memory be given to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, P.O. Box 3827, Bluffton, SC 29910.
