With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chip Sanders of Hartsville, South Carolina, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Chip may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chip touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his brother David Scott Sanders; and his father Dr. Joe Maxwell "Doc" Sanders II. He is survived by: his mother Dottie; his wife Lisa; his daughters, Carolina and Cassidy; his brother Eric; his nephews, Marshall and Alex; and his grandsons, August and Rowan.
