He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Yarborough Easterling; his wife Virginia Bertrand Easterling of Hartsville, SC; his children, Julian Ray Easterling (Caroline) of Washington, DC and Julie Pate (Jason) of Florence, SC; his sister Karen Karetas (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach, SC; Carol Brooks of Florence, SC.
