He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Hicks and Leola Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Austin Hicks of Patrick and Angel Gunnells (Jeremy) of Cope; and his grandchildren, Gabe, Shawn, Leah, Savannah, Mason, Cameron, Cylee and Cade. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister.
