He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Denzil (Mary Lowry Diggs) and Lynwood; his wife Shirley MayDee Flowers Diggs; and his sister Caroline Latham (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Denzil Diggs (Terry) and Darleane Loyd (Blair) of Hartsville; his grandchildren, Abigail Ferrantello (Robert), Alexander Glover of Charlotte, Madison Mahn (Warner) of Hartsville and Payton Andrews (Rhett) of Murfreesboro, TN.; and his great grandchildren, Lula MayDee Mahn, Eli Wallace Mahn, Byrdie Jay Mahn and Sawyer Vincent Ferrantello.
