He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dixon Wayne; his sons, Darrin Wayne (Laurie), Jamie Wayne (Michele), Kirby Wayne (Susan) and Kenny Lewis; his siblings, Kay Gragg (Troy), Doug Wayne (Ann), Dale Wayne (Nancy), Ken Wayne (Donna) and Russell Wayne (Ruby); his sister-in-law Debbie Wayne; his grandchildren, Kirsten Glenn (Taylor), Megan Wayne, Callie Broach (Tj), Shelby Killen (Scott), Anna Catherine Middleton (Thomas) and Corey Wayne (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Maren Glenn, Holden Glenn, Brenna Broach, Andrew Middleton and Laura Middleton.

“Harold was the oldest brother among his siblings and a steady family leader in his own quite way to many of us extended cousins and more. I will remember him as the best among us. He never sought for himself but rather constantly would seek to help any of his friends and especially family. Even if it meant driving hundreds of miles to deliver peaches or visit his elders. I will miss him. We all will miss him but I dare say none of us will forget him as he has left behind a family of distinction”
