We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 77, James Leander Gardner Sr. of Hartsville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Maude Boatwright Gardner; his son James Gardner, Jr. (Jamie); and his brother Wilson Gardner, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Wanda; his son Glenn Gardner (Dana); his daughter-in-law Kim Gardner; his grandchildren, Trey (Kerrigan), Chelsea, Preston, Gavin and Brooklyn Gardner; and his sister Linda West.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Savannah Advent Christian Church and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
