He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hall and Valorie Andrews Hall; his son Andrew Martin Hall; and his brother Joseph Jack Hall (late Carolyn Moore Hall) of Charlotte. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jones Hall; his daughter Toni Murray (Franklin) of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Andrew Donnie Morrison (Maggie) of Hartsville, SC and Ashley Cherie Morrison (Corey Herring) of Hartsville, SC; his siblings, Ernie "Melvin" Hall (late Carolyn Johnson Hall) of Lexington, Anita Hall (Bobby) of Darlington and Freida Hall Collins (Danny) of Hartsville; his sister-in-law Sue Griggs Jones (late Jerry Jones) of Hartsville; and the mother of his children Gay Martin Rose of Hartsville.
He retired from Carolina Power & Light Company in Florence, South Carolina, and worked with the National Science Foundation, traveling and wintering over in Antarctica on employment.
