Shoemake (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Shoemake and Susanna Kissiah Shoemake; his former life partner Virginia Bryant Shoemake; and his son-in-law John Clark. He is survived by : his children, Myrick O'Neal (Pam) of Phoenix, AZ, Vivian Uker (Denny) of Britt, IA, Elaine Hungerpiller (Colin) of Hartsville, SC, Kay Clark of McBee, SC, Mary Drew (Dennis) of McBee, SC, Letrail Oakley (Robert) of McBee, SC and Danna Isgett (David) of Hartsville, SC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Church of God (1823 Kelleytown Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
