He is survived by: his parents, Johnny Mack Stokes and Linda Barefoot Stokes; his wife Linda Hall Stokes; his sons, Chandler Stokes and John Austin Stokes (Katelynn Rogers); his stepdaughter Heather Morrison; his grandchildren, Hazel Reece Stokes and Maddox Stokes; his niece Kaitlyn Stokes; and his nephew Jacob Stokes.

The family requests that those attending wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with medical expenses.
