She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow Perdue and Evelyn Pierce Perdue. She is survived by : her children, Christopher Walters and Kimberly Gardner (William); her brother Dale Perdue; and her grandchildren, Hannah Gardner and Jacob Gardner.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1635 Cedar Creek Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550).
